I was watching my brother play several games of BlackOps hardcore team deathmatch and he would always get extremely frustrated when he walks around a building or any area that has corners in it for an enemy player to hide and they are sitting there and pop him.
He’d say, “stupid noobs corner camping”, and I asked him what he meant. Apparently corner camping is where you have your back against a corner and there are only one or two entrances to that spot. This way you can keep your gun aimed at those entrances and just wait for an enemy player to wander by. You can easily pick off two or three players before they realize where you are.
I wouldn’t stay in the same spot all game though, that gets boring after a while for me, and the enemy players might be more cautious when they come around that corner by throwing frag or flash grenades.
This is very effective especially in hardcore modes where it takes fewer bullets to take someone down. Any weapon is suitable for this style of camping, but I would use a submachine gun or assault rifle, because they are fast firing, accurate, and deadly.
In my previous post I was showing you my favorite spots in Overgrown for camping. I noticed this image also shows me hiding in a corner waiting for an enemy to come through that doorway or come down the stairs.
