Overgrown Camping 1

One of my favorite places to camp in the Overgrown map is one of the center buildings.

This one is great too.

It’s easy to defend from multiple points of entry. I especially love catching people attempting to enter from the ladder. It’s such an easy target if you keep your crosshairs right above the ladder and wait for their heads to pop up. You can also easily put a claymore mine at the top of it and you might catch someone who doesn’t toss a grenade before they ascend.

It is also big enough so you can move around. You don’t need to stay in the exact same area. If I get a kill from the second floor I will switch to the downstairs and wait until an enemy comes in trying to find me.

0:00 – 0:30: Entering the building and making sure I’m alone. I run to this area as soon as the game starts although I edited out the running part. Walking up those stairs is always a little jittery because I’m not sure if someone is going to be waiting for me.
0:31 – 0:50: I decide to claymore the stairs and camp on the upper floor. When I am planting the claymore I run into an enemy player. I must admit that first kill was lucky.
0:51 – 1:04: I am checking for players in the barn and the outer edge of the map. Some people like to hide in the barn and aim for people in the building I am in. I always have my eye on the barn while I’m looking.
1:05 – 1:20: I notice a teammate is down by the bridge. I keep moving from side to side trying to locate an enemy. I don’t like sitting still for too long. I see an opponent climb the wall and dispatch him with a few shots in the crotch.
1:21 – 1:30: Doing my reload dance.
1:31 – 1:43: I keep looking for players out the ladder entrance since there seems to be a lot of action centered there. I see a couple of grenade launchers fired and sight in the barn. I catch one guy with a headshot.
1:44 – 2:25: I use my three-kill streak radar buff, reload, and try hunting enemy players. Unfortunately I can’t seem to locate them, but a teammate does takes down two enemies who are on the floor above me while I am looking for them in the wrong place.
2:26 – 2:31: I go back upstairs to see if he needs help, but he was able to take them both down.
2:32 – 2:39: I resume looking out the ladder opening towards the barn.
2:40 – 2:54: My claymore I planted on the stairs earlier finally scores a kill. I decide I’ve had enough camping this building, especially since a teammate is staying up here with me, and I end the video.

I really don’t get too many shots off, but I don’t die either. During the video I have two claymore kills and two by my gun.
