Slow-Mo MW3 Multiplayer

I was at my parent’s house enjoying some day after Thanksgiving leftovers. Everything was still fantastic, but I think the oyster stuffing tastes best hot out of the turkey. My brother was playing Call of Duty MW3 again, and when I looked over it seemed like his multiplayer match was in super slow motion.

I asked him what was going on, but he didn’t know. He said it wasn’t a game option, and he has only been in a few games that were like this. It seemed to me like the whole gameplay was slowed down to maybe one fifth of normal speed. The respawn times took a lot longer, movement was extremely slow, and the game clock itself was slowed down. That means if you did play through a whole match it would take twice as long or more than a regular one. At least it appeared that aiming wasn’t affected.

(This isn’t my video, but I think it shows off the slow motion game-play very well.)

Playing like this was like pulling teeth, the game was agonizingly slow with every second feeling like ten seconds. There was one funny part cause by the slow motion voices. If you killed another player right in front of you the slow death scream caused my brother and I to burst out laughing.

After doing some online searching, I found a forum post with people asking the same question, why are some MW3 games in slow motion. Some people claim it is a hack, but no one showed any proof. My guess, it can be one or two possibilities; it might be a hack that a player is using or it might be a glitch in the coding. Either way I’m sure within a couple updates Infinity Ward will have it fixed.
